SATO Technologies Corp. ("SATO Technologies," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, store, and disclose your personal information in connection with your use of the Hordes Wallet app (the "App").
By using the App, you agree to the collection, use, storage, and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this Privacy Policy, you must not use the App.
1.1. The App is designed to be non-custodial, which means that we do not have access to your private keys or control over your digital assets. We do not collect any personal information about you, such as your name, email address, phone number, or physical address.
1.2. The App does not collect any personal data or use cookies or other tracking technologies to monitor your activity.
2.1. We collect anonymous, aggregated data about how the App is used, such as the number of users, the frequency and duration of use, and the types of transactions conducted. This data does not identify you personally and is used to improve the App and its features.
2.2 For users who opt in, we collect and store pictures linked to their Bitcoin public addresses. This is entirely optional and is provided as a service for users who wish to have a visual verification method associated with their transactions. The collection of these pictures is done with the user's consent, and the images are stored securely. This information is used solely for the purpose of enhancing security and user experience by enabling a more personalized interaction with the App. Users have the right to opt out and have their pictures removed from our database at any time by contacting our support team.
While we employ advanced security measures to protect the information under our control, including the pictures linked to Bitcoin public addresses, it is important to note that no system can be completely secure. Therefore, in the unlikely event that these images are lost, stolen, or accessed by unauthorized third parties due to hacking, we cannot be held responsible for any resulting damages or losses. By opting into this service, users acknowledge and accept the risks associated with providing and storing their pictures with us. We encourage users to maintain a high level of security for their own digital assets and personal information.
2.3. We respect our users' rights to manage their personal information. However, it is important to clarify that while the App facilitates the display of pictures linked to Bitcoin public addresses, these images are recorded on the blockchain as ordinals. As such, they are immutable and remain permanently on the blockchain. What our service provides is the ability to delete the link to this image from our system, effectively removing the display and any direct association with the user's account within the App. To delete this link, users should:
We also recommend users delete the App from their devices to ensure that no residual data linkage remains on the device itself.
By completing these steps, you will remove the ability for the image to be displayed or accessed through the App. However, please understand that the actual image, as an ordinal, is not deletable and will remain on the blockchain. The deletion process only affects the visibility and accessibility of the image through our App.
3.1. The App may utilize third-party services, such as blockchain explorers, to facilitate transactions and provide information about digital assets. These third-party services may have their own privacy policies governing the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you use in connection with the App.
4.1. We implement reasonable security measures to protect the anonymous, aggregated data we collect from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of data transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of the data we collect.
5.1. We reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time, at our sole discretion. If we make any material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by posting the updated Privacy Policy on the App or by sending an email notification to the email address associated with your account. Your continued use of the App after the effective date of any such changes will constitute your acceptance of and agreement to the updated Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to any changes to this Privacy Policy, you must stop using the App.
